1:1 Leadership Coaching
Private sessions for administrators, DONs, and quality leads. Prioritize fall, infection, and skin programs; tighten handoffs; and build a prevention cadence your team can keep.
Prevention consulting for long-term care & healthcare
Practical prevention partnership for skilled nursing, assisted living, home health, and hospital teams— fall and infection prevention, pressure-injury programs, survey readiness, and quality habits that stick on the floor.
Services
Built for administrators, DONs, QAPI leads, and home health directors who need clearer systems—not another binder that sits on a shelf.
Private sessions for administrators, DONs, and quality leads. Prioritize fall, infection, and skin programs; tighten handoffs; and build a prevention cadence your team can keep.
Focused 4–6 week sprints on fall prevention, infection control habits, pressure-injury reduction, or survey readiness—gap review, simple controls, and staff-ready routines.
Half-day and full-day sessions for nursing, therapy, and aides: near-miss reporting, safe mobility, infection precautions, skin checks, and respectful safety conversations under pressure.
How it works
A clear process that respects survey calendars, staffing, and the residents and patients you serve.
A 30-minute conversation about your facility type, current risks, and whether we’re a good fit. Straight talk—no pitch deck.
We review falls, infections, skin integrity, documentation gaps, and survey history—and name what’s working versus what’s only on paper.
Together we tighten huddles, checklists, coaching loops, and QAPI tracking so prevention shows up on every shift—not only in meetings.
You leave with clearer priorities, language for hard quality conversations, and a prevention cadence your team can sustain between consultant visits.

About
I’m Marlon—founder of GreatMarlon Prevention Consulting. I’ve spent years alongside long-term care and healthcare teams where small misses become serious outcomes: falls, infections, pressure injuries, and survey citations that drain time and trust.
Today I partner with SNFs, nursing homes, ALFs, home health agencies, and hospitals that want foresight without fear theater. My approach is warm, direct, and practical: see what’s real on the floor, coach the leaders who own quality, and install habits that hold when census and staffing shift.
Why this work: Because prevention shouldn’t live only in policy manuals. It should show up in safer mobility, cleaner handoffs, and calmer survey days.
Results
Prevention wins look quieter than crises—but they show up in fewer incidents, stronger QAPI, and teams that know what “good” looks like on night shift.
“Marlon helped us turn fall huddles into something CNAs actually use. Our repeat falls dropped, and surveyors saw a program—not just posters.”
“We came in behind on infection and skin metrics. The intensive gave our QAPI committee a clear map we still follow every month.”
“The workshop reset how our clinicians talk about risk in the home. Better documentation, earlier escalation—and fewer avoidable hospitalizations.”
